NoMail

Your inbox is a database.

NoMail is a keyboard-first, local-first mail client for macOS — custom views with filters, grouping, and sorting, a Notion-style block editor for composing, and on-device AI that never sends your mail anywhere.

NoMail — split inbox with pinned sections and an open conversation carrying a calendar invite

Views, not folders

Filter, group, and sort your mail the way you'd query a database. Save any result as a named view, pin it as a section of a split inbox, and let low-priority mail skip the inbox entirely. A built-in Follow-ups view keeps everything still waiting on a reply in one place.

Compose like it’s Notion

A real block editor: headings, to-do lists, quotes, code, colors — with markdown shortcuts and a slash menu. Snippets with variables, signatures, scheduled send, and undo-send. Composers pop out into their own windows and back.

Keyboard-first, wait-free

Every action has a shortcut, and everything is reachable from the ⌘K command menu. Because NoMail is local-first, nothing waits on the network: triage happens against your local database in milliseconds and syncs behind you — offline included.

Meetings, handled in-line

Calendar invites render as cards in the thread. RSVP from the card and the event lands in your Google Calendar.

Sign-in codes, one click

Verification codes are detected and surfaced on the list row and in the reading pane — copied with one click, before the sender’s email even loads.

Snooze threads, get reminded when nobody replies — armed right from the composer.

  • Snippets

Reusable text blocks with {{variables}} that fill in as you insert them.

  • Undo everything

Optimistic writes through a durable outbox — undo-send included.

  • One-click unsubscribe

Built to be trusted with your mail

No backend

NoMail has no servers. Your mail moves between your Mac and your provider — nowhere else.

On-device AI

Auto-labels that learn from how you file mail and thread summaries run a bundled local model. Nothing leaves the machine unless you opt into an external provider with your own key.

Signed & notarized

Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and auto-updating — release notes shown in-app.

Fair Source

Licensed FSL-1.1-ALv2: read, run, and modify the code — and each release becomes plain Apache 2.0 two years after it ships.
